No application found for task...[RESOLVED]

I've installed 64-bit Ubuntu on a VMWare virtual machine on my Core i7. After installing BOINC and attaching to WCG, it downloaded all of the program files (I think), but then I get some errors:

Thu 08 Jul 2010 08:03:47 AM PDT	World Community Grid	Requesting new tasks
Thu 08 Jul 2010 08:03:48 AM PDT World Community Grid Scheduler request completed: got 1 new tasks
Thu 08 Jul 2010 08:03:48 AM PDT World Community Grid Message from server: Resent lost result E200100_285_A.19.C14H8N2S3.15.1.set1d06_0
Thu 08 Jul 2010 08:03:48 AM PDT World Community Grid [error] App version has unsupported platform i686-pc-linux-gnu
Thu 08 Jul 2010 08:03:48 AM PDT World Community Grid [error] No application found for task: i686-pc-linux-gnu 619 ; discarding

I'm also wondering about the "Resent lost result" message.
What am I missing here? Would really like to get crunching on this project.

Re: No application found for task...

Thanks, that got me going. The 5 tasks per day is a tad limiting when you have 4 cores. Actually, I'd like to run at least 6 threads or so under Windows--are they going to remove quota limit?

Re: No application found for task...

As soon as valid tasks are returned the startup quota goes up instantaneously... till it reaches 80 per core per day, the limit.

Glad you got that solved quickly... happy crunching at WCG.

Re: No application found for task...

Yeah, I see that now. I have 8 valid results returned (~3.5 hours CPU per result) and many waiting. Once the Windows client is ready, I will clear out the Ubuntu cache.
