Any chance of getting this reduced to 512Kbps? People in the UK like to crunch too. [snip] Got a log clip showing that message? I only have 100Kbps upload speed at best (and the *_4 results server seems to max out around 35Kbps anyway), and have never been refused for that reason... once in a while multiple computers are downloading simultaneously (and/or trying to download while another's uploading) and it lowers their download averages below 128Kbps (my typical DL maximum is only 300-400Kbps as it is), but tweaking the net_stats section in client_state.xml a little (while the boinc-client service is stopped) gets them back in the mix. |

I read it on the WCG site somewhere, 1Mbps upload and download. Can't seem to find it again.
----------------------------------------I connect at ~700Kbps upstream so maybe there is hope yet. ![]() |

It's qualified in 2 ways 1Mbps and 128kBps and when denied in the BOINC message log, misprinted as 128kbps.
----------------------------------------The servers say yes/no only based on the statistics from prior downloads. Upload stats are not weighing into the control.

In can confirm that upload speed isn't an issue. For a few days my ADSL was a bit flakey. I was downloading at 6Mb/s but only able to upload at 90Kb/s. As my download speed was good I got plenty of CEP units even though my upload speed was little better than an old analogue modem.
