shock Re: smile smile The Race to 2nd Place smile smile

New facts regarding the F1 race in Indianapolis say that Michelin actually was able to use the modified tires (GB:tyres) IF they were prepared to answer a hefty fine for doing so. Background: the new F1 rules only allowes 2 tire "recipies" per race and both compositions that Michelin brought to the Indi race were defective in a way that they could not withstand the top speed in the steep bank.

So Michelin could simply have paid the fine and started with different tires but they preferred to make illegal suggestions (build a chicane, an obstacle to slow down the cars before they entered the top speed area) which were not conform with the F1 rules. Then they and their client teams decided to ruin the race. Now they all face claims for damage by the sponsors, fans, event organizers, FIA - F1 association etc. -- I hope they have to pay MUCH more than the tyre-change fine devilish .

I mean, they also could have instructed the drivers to slow down "manually", it would still have been a race.

Anyway -- let's concentrate on the run for the WCG crown, was adding more machines today to ride down TW soon...

Best regards, Stefan (from sunny Germany -- too hot today cool ).

Didn't get round to posting this here this morning - better late than never

MWAYNE joins the 6 digit Club and Joost (nl59056) posts 2 Million!!!

Hi MWAYNE we knew you could do it, you snuck in there just before Coingames (Hopefully tomorrow Coingames) . Welcome to Camp 1 on your ascent of the North Face of the WCG. It's only a precarious ledge but at least they serve Tea smile. The 56th member of the 6 Digit club.

Joost astounding number crunching power. Team we now have 2 multi-millionaires on our side. A 41,612 point daily average - a super computer in your own right.

Congratulations to you both applause .

Pats on backs all round are in order as well as we've started to make this coming second on points per day thing a habit. We're now crunching at 58% the power of Slashdot with 5.5% of their membership.

As ever punching well above our weight
Keep 'em crunching

Cheers Robsab

We keep them down to 500 posts a thread now as there is a slight flaw in navigating past 500 posts - getting back to a previous page wink

our original 745 post thread can be found here http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=833

There you can find the origins of our fasination for our happy flourescent yellow headed friend smile

I think this is chapter 5 or 6 I lose count.

We have a great advantage in having made friends now from right around the world, there's always a team mate to keep up the MOT chatter at all hours of the day and night.

It's just going dark now in the UK on the northern hemispheres longest day of the year. Great the nights start drawing in again crying that's all we need.

Winter here we come d oh

Night from the UK
