Re: Clean Energy Project - Phase 2's Recognition Thread

seems like everybody is going full throttle on this project. Personally I am limiting how many I do at a time. I probably won't get a sapphire for another 2-3 months (letting only 1 or 2 cores run CEP2 at time (mostly 1)).

anybody else concern about the IO/performance hit?

Re: Clean Energy Project - Phase 2's Recognition Thread

At long last, gold! The going was a little rough there with the lost time issue, never thought I'd make it. I think I will put Linux to rest and wait for the Windows version at this point.

Amen brother. I finally hit gold. I believe I am finished with my VMWare/Ubuntu experiment because it completely kills my GPUGrid performance. I also think I am finished with this project when I hit Ruby.

Congrats Dataman and everyone else.

Was I surprised to see bronze! Didn't expect it this soon with the trouble I've been having.

I try to keep my I7 hyperthread down to four tasks at one time. Other than the network load, I haven't seen any impact on my performance. The beauty of this project is it seems to work well with my main computer. At least when looking at credit claim vs. granted. All the other projects take a significant hit with the HT.

And an edit to keep this somewhat on topic... I should hit gold tomorrow.
