I have investigating BOINCstats and how it is used in some of the signatures, and the signature used by Sekerob which has a one line image containing current values for runtime, etc. As for BOINCstats, the F.A.Q. has information about how to display the statistics, but I can't find the BOINCstats ID number.
The signature URL for users looks like this: http://www.boincstats.com/signature/user_12345.gif The numbers are replaced with your own BOINCstats ID number. You can find this number on your BOINC detailed statistics page. Where is my BOINC detailed statistics page? |

How did you find that information? I assume this is described in the forums, but I did not see anything that would lead to what you provided. Thanks

Thank you, astrolab. I had started using WCG while still at work and I have not had time to read any of the detailed information until just recently and I am finding that there are basics I am missing by not having done this. Your pointer to the Start Here FAQ will help me to resolve any other questions I have.

ok DKT where i figured the information..
----------------------------------------1) went to www.boincstats.com 2) top left of screen typed your user name and hit search 3) when results came up i clicked on the magnifying glass under the options column 4) on next screen i clicked on the bar graph icon in the options column that is how i got to where your info was on boincstats. hope that helps. also you can join boincstats for free and get a login and then do some modifications to how your stats display and such |

I want to thank you as well, nasher. The information in BOINCstats is not very clear about where all this information is located. I thought the value to use for the graphic was the User ID, but this is not the case. Using the steps you provided, I see
URL for user signature graphic (for this project only) has the name of the URL to use and the ID number is completely different than the User ID. The only question I have is what is the difference in what you are using for the banner as follows? http://www.boincstats.com/signature/user_banner_bam35498.png |

ok if you notice mine lists Idle projects instead of listing like 30 different projects
----------------------------------------since now and then i jump on other BOINC projects i manage to get alot of other stats and my sig would be incredibly large even in two column mode by turning off some of the projects i dont have credits currently cumming in on you see a much shorter signature  |
