Work Unit left?

I new here and I notice that the research progress image has been halted. I don't know the reason why, but maybe there are too many variables to gauge a timeline.

Still, is there a way to show how much work unit a research have, and how many has been downloaded & processed and how many left?

I'm not a badge hoarder that click on all research, I just focus on one research (although I do tick to accept other jobs once the work unit for that research is unavailable).

Thanks.

The overall image, the link is in the FAQ. The one that says "Timeline of Active Research Starts and [Estimated] Ends"

Currently I'm focusing on Help Cure Cancer.

Re: Work Unit left?

those are 3rd party graphs and he stoped updateing them since too many people complained when a project announced less than 30 days left and his prediction still said months.

honestly i loved the graphs and wish he would restart them

Same here

Basically, it's stated over and over again, that these are estimates, and thus, the timescales are likely to move. Thus, if/when they DO move, then no one should have any complaints but instead, be grateful that they have been informed. The alternative is that projects will end with basically no warning whatsoever (apart from the '30 day warning' that the techs try to provide).

Sekerob, please reconsider and just ignore those who do complain. I'd say that there are far more crunchers 'out there' who do appreciate the fantastic service you've been providing (after all, just ocnsider the numer of hits these graphs receive).

Re: Work Unit left?

That's the point why I ask for work unit left - not estimation. Anyway, I notice that some of the graphs still active, and the Cure Cancer has percentage on it's lower right.

Better than nothing I guess/

There is a page that shows how much work has been done for each project. Click on the project's link on the following page to see its statistics:
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/viewProjects.do

There is no page that shows the number of remaining work units.
