Problem with Ubuntu 10.04.

My system got screwed up so I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.04. Download latest version of boing. Had to make some changes in Firefox to get it to work and also to disable IPv6 in Thunderbird. Tried disabling IPv6 generally.

Anyway installed boing via a sudo aptitude install boinc-client boinc-manager.

But when I reboot and look at messages it says it cannot connect to internet. Also not sure how it would know my id cos it never asked for it.,

Re: Problem with Ubuntu 10.04.

Hi Keith,

Would you please visit the Synaptic Package Manager or the Ubuntu Software centre and uninstall BOINC. Then, reinstall from either these 2 managers. Simply type BOINC in the search bar. First do the core client, then the BOINC Manager. When attaching to WCG use your member name and password.
