Not much point in offering up a processor if nothing is ever done.
I have had boinc (Ver 6.10.25) running on this Mac for several months, and today, I have 19 tasks with a status of "downloading". But nothing ever gets downloaded. I have 6 tasks on the transfer tab running with percentages anywhere from 95 - 13, but nothing ever changes. There are a total of 30 or so transfers with a status of download pending and a message indicating Project Backoff in 01:29. I am on a 56k dialup, and only turn this Mac on over the weekends. Sure would like to crunch some numbers, and my Windows 7 laptop is processing tasks just fine. |

You might like to try one of the recommended versions from this page, either the latest 6.10.56, or the older 6.10.21 if 6.10.56 does not work better. |

Do you have any firewalls enabled? If so, you may want to disable them and hit the retry button.
