We could really use tracert's from locations that experience this issue. It appears that some routes into our servers are problematic and we are trying to document what those are. If you don't want to post your ip address online then please send the tracert to support@worldcommunitygrid.org and ask Kevin to review it.

TylerChris,
----------------------------------------The IP you posted is a LAN IP from a range that is worldwide reserved for internal use. If you will, open a DOS / Terminal Window and type in: tracert -h 30 -4 www.worldcommunitygrid.org > tracert.txt this will create a file named tracert.txt which content mail to support@worldcommunitygrid.org. The first few with 192.168.xxx.xxx are the internal LAN/router IPs. The first after that is the IP address [usually temporarily] assigned to you by your ISP. sample output: Tracing route to www.worldcommunitygrid.org [198.20.8.246] via maximum of 30 hops: 1 1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.1.1 2 21 ms 22 ms 21 ms 192.168.100.1 3 22 ms 21 ms 21 ms host101-63-static.40-88-b.business.telecomitalia.it [88.40.xx.xxx] 4 22 ms 21 ms 22 ms r-pe27-vl11.opb.interbusiness.it [217.141.254.203] 5 25 ms 25 ms 25 ms 172.17.4.37 6 32 ms 32 ms 32 ms 172.17.8.165 7 33 ms 35 ms 33 ms 172.17.6.125 8 37 ms 36 ms 37 ms mil50-ibs-resid-16.mil.seabone.net [195.22.208.61] 9 128 ms 126 ms 127 ms new50-mil50-racc2.new.seabone.net [195.22.216.230] 10 129 ms 128 ms 129 ms new51-new50-racc2.new.seabone.net [195.22.216.209] 11 127 ms 126 ms 127 ms 192.205.36.229 12 142 ms 142 ms 142 ms cr1.n54ny.ip.att.net [12.122.86.6] 13 140 ms 140 ms 139 ms 12.122.6.153 14 144 ms 143 ms 143 ms 165.87.26.210 15 143 ms 144 ms 144 ms 32.115.106.22 16 * * * Time-out 17 * * * Time-out 18 * * * Time-out 19 * * * Time-out 20 * * * Time-out 21 * * * Time-out 22 * * * Time-out 23 * * * Time-out 24 * * * Time-out 25 * * * Time-out 26 * * * Time-out 27 * * * Time-out 28 * * * Time-out 29 * * * Time-out 30 * * * Time-out Detail instruction to use tracert and interpret output: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/162326 PS, think this is covered in WCG Help, but could not immediately find it. edits: insert contact/support mail address and some highlighting.
