good morning Dave..! and of course the rest of MOT... I feel like dirt.. above ground dirt though.. :) Dr. Mike.. Above ground dirt, huh? Thinking about that can give you a headache. If ground is dirt, how can dirt be above ground? Ever picky as we humans are, dirt, once not ground, become dust. Amazing how much dirt there is in a dust storm though. Methinks though you mean a specific variety of dirt normally found about six feet down, well the opposite sort of dirt, uh, dust, uh......OUCH! OH my head! Interesting image to be having a doctor paint. You sure you don't have a mortican in your ancestry? OW! OW! OW!....where's that aspirin! |

Personal milestone: sapphire badge for help conquer cancer.. :) Better milestone: seeing all of the other milestones.. some great stuff lately.. and it's just early May! Also, looks like we're averaging more people contributing per day.. awesome.. Dr. Mike.. I really like the part about more people contributing per day. Morning Doc, Dave and the rest of MOT I don't want to sound like bragging but truth is we do have a lot to be proud of. We're routinely returning over 1000 WU each day, doing over six months worth of crunching each day and have 75 to 80 percent of our active members returning a result each day. We keep growing like a teenager with last year's pants that look like knickers! We're looking at completing our first half-billion points around the end of July/start of August. We've got folks across the spectrum from those with their own "server farms" to folks who don't have their own computer but can run it on their machine at work during the day, from cutting edge tech to tecnologically "ancient" machines. It all adds up and it's adding up to bunches! We've helped do our part to bring about a big breakthrough in HIV drugs ( okay, yea they qualified it but of course they're going to talk about it conservatively) and it's only a matter of time before we hear something like it for cancer! Helping save lives feels pretty good! |
