Is iy possible we will have four and a half days of new work? Probably not. https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,29084 But you can grab your badge whenever we get the new targets. |

As of right now, Sek's chart is still showing under 99% complete. I see at least three days of results in that number. Then we get re-sends and such.
----------------------------------------Don't give up hope just yet. Edit: I seem to have a knack of making a fool of myself in public. Not an hour after this post, I started seeing the no tasks available intermittently. At least we'll have re-sends and the new targets. ![]() Distributed computing volunteer since September 27, 2000 [Edit 1 times, last edit by KWSN - A Shrubbery at May 20, 2010 11:55:33 PM] |

----------------------------------------Commensurate with the official announcement, the time-line chart (WCGACT) has been updated to add about 6 months more crunching, with a projected resume 2 months from now. and by uplingerSek, the calculation time needed to calculate these next targets highly depends on the size of the target as well. If it is a complicated one, then more splits will be required to do one work unit. But I would estimate that the project will continue through the end of the year. I have also seen, in the forum pointed to by https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,29084 that Sekerob is saying the timeline is being increased by six months with a two month time for preparation and that Uplinger thinks the project will be active until the end of the year due to additional targets. Hi everyone, I want to make sure that I get my sapphire badge now (btw, I now have enough in my cache to reach that target!)
... because, at this time it looks like it's not for sure that the new targets get credited to this first HFCC-phase, especially if there is a 3-months break between now and the moment the new wu's are created. I think I have read something about 2 new targets... but what if scientists decide even some more targets to go for? Perhaps they change their mind and make a second badge. As a badge hunter I wanted to make sure not to miss out on my first sapphire, especially as it's for children As I have invested in 2 new I7's for this target, I've decided to stick with my goal. -chris- |

Some [new] still lurking. Got in the mix 2848718 at 8:35 UTC, May 21., a regular 10 day deadline task i.e. due May 31.
----------------------------------------And why it is 99% and not 100% this morning... well all charts show validated work % estimates... average turn around time is several days :D

Liking the secret stash, just enough to carry the balance over to 1.5 emerald. All single distro, trickle in for each completed task a new one arriving.

I have enough WUs to get me to one year and 360+ days - not quite 2 years. I am only hoping that the processing time is more than I am estimating so I can reach that 2 year mark. Sekerob is saying he will get to a year and a half and also something about a secret cache. I got three new WUs for this PC this morning followed by some for FAAH, HCC, HPF2, and CMD2.
