Without specifically asking for them (DDDT2, if no work...), I have about 12% HFCC work units "in progress" at the moment. All with a 10-day deadline.

2 [maybe more] possibles:
----------------------------------------- Less exclusive crunchers - More in the hopper so those who have a multi/all science selection also get work in a set-forget mode, to get their badge :D shear creative thinking :O Last check, 10 of 27 in cache are HFCC.

Indeed, I also go for the not enough to catch them all exclusive crunchers.
There's too manyWU's around for it to be coincidence. |

EOP is when the last task has validated and that with certainty is not going to happen until June, based on a last new work distribution for the s2 target were it still anticipated on May 20. Of course the scientist need to confirm that all is completely in their possession and nothing was left out.

I show about 9 days left of new work to send out. -Uplinger Ahh darn*. The sudden change in the progress bar for HFCC has really caught me with my pants down . I doubt I will make Silver with only a dual-core laptop at my disposal ![]() *edited to appropriate forum language - ErikaT [Edit 1 times, last edit by ErikaT at May 17, 2010 12:53:00 PM] |

Ahh darn*. The sudden change in the progress bar for HFCC has really caught me with my pants down . I doubt I will make Silver with only a dual-core laptop at my disposal ![]() Well if you run it 24/7 u can set your cache to 9 days and see if you scoop up enuf, that's about 28 days of run time (9 days plus 5 days to the 20th X2 for Dual core. So if you had 17 days already... GOOD LUCK ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by ErikaT at May 17, 2010 12:55:07 PM] |

The amazing thing is that on the HCC/HCMD2/HFCC mix profile quad, at least 30% in tasks is HFCC and since they run quite a bit longer, the effective percent in run time quite a bit higher. Last one received is 2545984 with a cache at 0.9 days. The last 6 HFCC actually went straight into Inconclusive, second copies with 4 day deadline In Progress somewhere. Just now caught one new with # 2649915. Received nearly exact 3 days after above, that's 104,000 compounds in 3 days, yet we're doing 75,000 average result per day i.e. the computations per task are spread over multiple tasks. (Uplinger wrote they can pack a max of 255 dockings in a task with Auto-Dock), but can't remember reading how many are actually programmed per compound for HFCC. From Result log:

As a parent of a child fighting Neuroblastoma, I was wondering if the scientists had anything new to share from this research?
