I returned my last mop-up WU yesterday, 31 May, at 15.35 BST having been sent it 6 hours earlier. Sadly the other wing-man returned his WU an hour and half after midnight - just too late for it to count - having crunched away at it for nearly 22 hours - what bad luck on the last throw of the dice......I'm looking forward to more units in a couple of months time.....

At this point there is no plan to make the additional 2 targets an additional phase. I can only see into the near future. My crystal ball doesn't tell me anything about the distant future :) Hope this helps answer some of those questions. Also, we are still working with the researchers for the next two targets...
Thanks, -Uplinger |

Glad to hear there is more coming. I am literally 48 hours away from 2 Years. So close.

PS: WCG and scientists are of course much appreciative if you were to put your new investment behind crunching towards the much hypothesized 10 year Palladium and a 25 year Black Pearl [or whatever precious stone or metal these would get assigned, if ever additional levels materialize] Don't forget the 5 year Turquoise (or was that Amethyst) ![]() |

Today there still look to validate 1,000 or so results. Think from hereon, it's pretty much the No Reply duplicates we'll be seeing in the stats until phase 1B kicks off and those with over-cache getting the "server aborted", if the replacement/make-up jobs are executed quickly by the A++ reliable devices.

Question - Are we still going to use this thread to keep track of when the new WUs are available? I only have 15 days to get to two years so I am interested in what happens.

The purpose of this thread was to inform on end of work for the last of 3 original targets. There will be a new one I'm sure when the 30 day notice is given for target 4 & 5.
----------------------------------------Since it's the same forum covering, lets call it phase 1B, no new one being created, take an RSS or Watch forum subscription and you'll be mail notified or alerted in your browser if the resume is being announced. The thread title will be self-explanatory I'm sure.

Sek could you turn the image for your project end dates chart round the right way please? Just turn your monitor around. Sek, I think the wrapper on the bars is a good idea. I am assuming that you will apply a different wrapper on each bar. It can be used to differentiate between the phase 1 & 2 projects that you have condensed into 1 bar, but still show time gaps within a single project phase. The image is very distorted though. I think that you should also put "phase 1 & 2" in the label for those projects to be very clear to those not well informed. Then the reason for multiple wrappers in the same bar should be obvious. Cheers ![]() ![]() |
