I get out of my car and get assailed by several co-workers, "we have no electricity, everyone else does it's just our building". Keep in mind most of them have been there since 5am in the dark. I ask them "did you try to reset the main Breaker" they said "yes, it just trips off right away". Did anyone call the electric company on the number listed at the main?". blank stares. "Ok let me me see what the deal is". I goe to the main, one of the phases is out coming in (we have three pretty green lights). I look at the pole and I can visually see one of the fuses is blown apart. I look straight down from the pole and a dead singed squirrel is lying there. Call the electric company, power up in 20 minutes. It is a good thing i didn't take that day off, near as I can figure, that squirrel cost us about $5000 in down time.
