New Team formed by WCG Partner ACM!!!
.................................................................. I just read a news release that indicates that the Association for Computing Machinery has joined the WCG as a Partner. With a membership 80,000 strong, I hope that ACM Team will grow well beyond the present membership of 13! If we talk nice to him, I am sure that my team mate Graham will be willing to develop and host a signature banner for the team. Perhaps it can be built from this:  Good luck to the new team!!! |

Thanks, Graham. I am sure the members of ACM Team will appreciate the signature banner. One thing you didn't mention is how they can get to their profile to create the signature. I would recommend that they open a second window while viewing your post. Then, in the selection bar below the World Community Grid logo at the top of this page, point to "My Forum Profile" and click on it. On the screen that comes up they will see "Change My Signature" as a selection towards the top left. If they click on that and then follow the instructions to cut/paste from your post, they will be done.

Fanie -- With ACM having a membership of 80,000, that would be awesome, but I am sure they would like to forge their own identity here on the WCG. I think it is cool that they have the potential to give Slash-dot a run for their money. |
