No.
----------------------------------------It's not needed, it's "OK" 99 % of the time and there is always someone here to tell you OK or not in case of doubt. ![]() Edit: PS: 1 % unavailability means 7.2 hours for 30 days and I don't think such a bad availability ratio is reached very often. Edit2: 7.2 hours is for 99 %, not for 99.99 % (4.32 minutes) ---------------------------------------- [Edit 4 times, last edit by JmBoullier at Apr 8, 2010 10:15:02 AM] |

PS: 0.01 % unavailability means 7.2 hours for 30 days and I don't think such a bad availability ratio is reached very often. Ohoh, get your maths straight plz. 0,01% in 30 days is 4.32 Minutes, not hours. |

Ohoh, get your maths straight plz. 0,01% in 30 days is 4.32 Minutes, not hours. Oops, correct! I have corrected my post from 99.99 % to 99 % since it was the 7 hours I was thinking of. I am sure that there are months where 99.99 % would be correct, or in fact 100 %, but when there is a real outage (maintenance or unplanned) it is more in the 3-6 hours range than a few minutes. Thanks for signaling my mistake. Jean. |

Yes there is currently a problem reported in this thread HCMD2 Project Server(s) down? and it might affect other projects too.
----------------------------------------Please follow up in the above thread or, better, use the "Recent Threads" view of the forum to catch any fresh news more easily. Uploading and reporting do not seem to be affected. |

I am getting a server problem when using the Boinc for Linux. Boinc for Windows seems to be working. Hopefully network will investigate.
