biggrin Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 42 smilesmile

I noticed today that BOINCStats has me in the top 10,000 users now. With that milestone, I thought I'd look at what others we may have now too. We past the 80 million BOINC credits mark over the weekend and it appears we past the 40 million point mark for the year here at WCG yesterday. RT will pass the 10 million point mark for the year tomorrow and Rene Punt should become our next MOT Millionaire in about two weeks. Anyone get a new badge lately - or getting close to another one?

Not really close to getting a badge.. but hey, now I have something like 3 total DDDT2 work units.. biggrin

I'm getting close to ruby for HFCC. I'm thinking about having all my systems (such as they are) do HFCC to speed up the process.... maybe, maybe not.

Morning All smile

Just an update. The typical HFCC WU runs about 7-8 hours on one of the I7s (860-920) and on the Intel Atom Based Netbook it was 43.78 hours. Of course the I7s are running 8 processes at a time so it is not a fair comparison.

So...if you want to buy a cruncher, the Intel Atom might not be your first choice. smile

smile Based on my limited experience, it doesn't look like something that will catch on. smile

It has run two HCC WUs one HFCC and is running another now. I have it trying to get the DDDT2 WUs now. Those things are hard to come by.

Good to see points coming in for Blueprint again! Hope you're okay Marc.

I'm honored you noticed biggrin

We had an unusually long hot and dry summer here in Perth (which was ended with one of our worst storms in our history interestingly) so I gave the crunchers a break for a bit.. They're somewhat back now, should be returning 10k+ a day again.

I'm well though - except third year of uni is killing me! crying
