Now that all my 10 devices are on Boincstats I checked the daily credits as they appear on Boincstats hosts stats and then the daily WCG points for the same day. I took yesterday 25th February:
----------------------------------------On Boincstats I have a total of 44'623 credits. This is done by adding the daily total of each host. This multiplied by the magic number *** 7 *** gives me a total of 312'361 WCG points. Now when I look at My Stats Hystorical Statistics fro the same date I get 252'358. Missing 60'003 WCG points. Forget the 60'000 but it is those 3 points that are hurting. Where is the catch?  |

One word, two syllables: Timing

But this morning showed as 25 Feb. It is pretty strange this same list this morning added to 44k with all on 25 Feb. But even if we add again without Uranus that shows for the 26 then I have 33'441 and I take the data of Uranus on the 25 from the last 30 days stats of Boincstats which is 2'895 (same as for 25 again this is strange) I get 36'336 x 7=254'352. This is much better but not perfect. So different timings different results, and some unreliability in Boincstats. |

As noted, the timing is different. WCG exports every 6 hours for fetching by the 3rd party stats keepers. BOINCstats is off cycle for WCG, think it reports 25th as half 25th and half 26th? From your stats header it says:
----------------------------------------Comprising 2,105,925.24 from the daily update + 19,212.83 since then And at the WCG overall header Last update user XML 2010-02-25 23:18:07 GMT Last update host XML 2010-02-25 23:26:07 GMT Last update team XML 2010-02-25 23:17:03 GMT Which is before the WCG nightly 00:00 UTC update. Anyway, long stop trying to reconcile, just periodically looking at total and RAC which is different from BSRAC to what shows in your client... and that's the most important reference for that shows the totals through the last validation... it's semi real time (when client talks to project server).
