None on my 16 pages, but it's nice to see this thread pop back up.

Jeffop,
----------------------------------------On my 19 pages, I had 2 that are about to be resent, so if you can bump em to the top before it's too late, I'd appreciate it. Now I feel like a total Geek. Not sure whether it's cuz I printed out 3 pages of your work units, or spent the time scanning my pages, or is it because I replied ts02_a415_pcb005_0 is due by the first of Feb so that one first please ts02_a446_pda003_1 is due on the 2nd, please no repeater on groundhog day LOL. P.S. Groundhog day is also when I went to boot camp 25 years ago EDIT: By the way, I see that you downloaded units are recently as the 27th... Suggest you set your cache for 1 day and let em catch up [Edit 2 times, last edit by Jack007 at Jan 29, 2011 5:27:28 PM] |

Hi Jack, sorry for the delay I have boosted those two. Question though, I've alwas assumed the resends would not go out before the original deadline had passed (assuming the wingman hadn't detached or aborted or anything). i.e. there's no "earlier" deadline for when a resend goes out, is there?
----------------------------------------I did get a newer DDDT2 job or two by accident recently (was trying to get a single CEP2 a couple days ago for a little diversity on my 8-thread i7-720QM) but don't worry, it's under control. Also chewing on that list is my MacBook Pro i5-540M (4-threads). I promise, no "no reply"s -j p.s. and I think anyone into wcg crunching enough to ask SNURK for one of these wonderful sig's could easily be called a geek. it's so hard when people ask what my hobbies are... "uhh, badge hunting and watching over all my tasks?" [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 29, 2011 7:59:05 PM] |

Between my 5 pages in PV and 27 pages IP, I have enough to hit my Emerald badge. I have started reducing my cache back to its normal 0.1 days from 6 days.
----------------------------------------So, to my wingmen, help is on the way. [Edit 1 times, last edit by mwgiii at Jan 30, 2011 3:24:44 PM] |

My cache is normally 2 days. If I make it smaller, I run the risk of running out of work. The two days of work in the cache normally only takes two days to complete if that much. The only time I reduced the cache to 0.5 days was when I was trying to get more Beta Testing work - it did not seem to help.

Hello dtk I think that 1day cache is much better, because you need to return WU < 2 days in order to be in highly reliable host class.
Beta WU are extremely rare and they are limited to 1 per core. They usually evaporats in few monents. |

Question though, I've alwas assumed the resends would not go out before the original deadline had passed (assuming the wingman hadn't detached or aborted or anything). i.e. there's no "earlier" deadline for when a resend goes out, is there? Nah the dates they were due are when they would send a resend. or the next day not sure... I was just trying to light a fire under your Donkey Again not that with 20 pages (now it's growing) of PV 2 are gonna make a huge dif. but it's kinda fun to tweak. Edit: I run a one day cache. Twice (that I can remember only in a couple of years) I've run out due to outages. A one day cache would have covered me for both. In the grand scheme of things, not a lot of downtime, but a 1 day cache isn't hurting anything. (I just wish I had bumped my cache just a little more with influenza, I'm stuck at 363 days, so close to green.) [Edit 1 times, last edit by Jack007 at Jan 30, 2011 5:02:09 PM] |

Jack007, you say you are stuck at 363 days, but for which project? I see you are already at 2 years for DDDT2 and it is only CEP2 that you have less than one year. And this forum is for DDDT2.

(I just wish I had bumped my cache just a little more with influenza, I'm stuck at 363 days, so close to green.) I'll trade you 3 FLU1 days for 3 FCG1... an offer you can't refuse, that is, if you have them ;P |
