Re: DDDT2 Project Recognition Thread

anhhai, your badge collection is starting to look very blue applause

thx skgiven. I am about to max out my badge collection in a few days with my windows machine. so I converted 1 machine over to linux hoping to get at least the bronze badge in cep2. The WU's finishes super fast on linux. I mean 40-50% less time for a WU. If we all convert our windows pc over to linux we could finish these project in half the time. Of course this won't happen even if linux is free. Most of us (me included) are too used to windows.

The only thing I hate is that you get a lot less points per hour in linux, unless you do the zero redundancy projects.

Once CEP2 comes to windows, I can get the sapphire badge. Then I will truly be blue because there will be no more badges to chase and it will be yrs before I see any results from these project. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they can actually get some sort of product (drug/solar cell/filter) out the door within a few months of us finishing these project? Of course that is a pipe dream, but one can always hope.

I think the old saying goes something like: "shoot for the moon, that way even if you miss you will land among the stars"
