Re: How well does your system perform for WCG

That's what I said, attach the clients [via the Tools Menu Attach to An Account Manager]. BAM has an option [prepare a new client/host]. Not come across a way yet to force the BAM attach remotely, from BAM... hmmm, better check my securities again.

Re: How well does your system perform for WCG

Movieman for an absolute comparison I agree that boincstats is ok. The question here is to have a relative measure about the maximum capability of your own rig, and not another similar. Every rig is different even if you have the same processor: HT or not, memory quantity and speed, OC, Disk type and speed, motherboard, network, OS configuration, GPU etc. you name it.
What I am trying to do is to have a personal reference in terms of possible maximum and then compare daily or weekly how the whole system behaves, including whatever interruptions maybe. This is a moving target and the maximum is also depending on the project, or if you run a single or mixed projects. But over a month of stable usage by taking out the best day of each you get that relative max, you can compare the other days.

I hear you but at least to me I can get enough info from that page to see if any machines have issues and what they are averaging.
Just my feeling but you can get overwhelmed in stats if you let it happen.
What you want and need for info is are the machines working as they should? What are they putting out daily?
When you see one drop then you know to check that machine.
For instance I run WCG and one other DC app: MJ12..MJ12 is mostly bandwidth but also uses a small amount of cpu power.
I just installed it on my new machine and it's looking like it's costing me over 10,000PPD on that machine so I think it's being removed..That's the kind of info I want to know.

Sek, Movieman, I finally got it to work in BAM.
My ten planets are there, and I get all the useful host statistics. Do not need to do complicated calculations anymore.
Excellent applause

Good for you Hypernova.

Needs about 30-60 days to build the history and averages, then if crunching constantly, you'd see little undulation in the Rig-RAC, provided BOINCstats keeps updating. Sometimes they miss to pull a statistic [last date printed somewhere], which then causes momentary across the fleet change, but that normalizes again next when they do refresh.
