Just a DDDT-2 Type A Testers alert on future work time projections.

Because of the extreme long run times, the client's Duration Correction Factor [DCF] will severely inflate, to the point that your client will not cache the usual number of jobs, if you have cache set. If you see Time To Completion's [TTC] looking ludicrous, you've been affected. Those that run with small cache are not suffering... just let it run and in 10-15 jobs the TTCs will normalize again.

Why now: Well my laptop suddenly showed DCF 7.5 and showed 50 hour HFCC jobs in the queue.

How to correct quicker: Set work fetch to No, run buffer empty and reset the project, the hackers route saved for others who're in a state of despair [Think the interface could use a DCF reset function, not aware of a DCF reset utility]

Frankly Sek I would love to get a few WU's (not too many otherwise it kills the Results Returned statistics) with real 50 to 100 hours crunching say on a i7 920. The number of points granted would be terriffic.
biggrin

Unless your wingman is a severe underclaimer and his claim is chosen by the validator. During the first type A beta I had a long WU credited one third of what it should have been... Possible losses are proportional to the size of the WU too.
However for beta badge hunting that does not matter, one hour is one hour. smile
