It's my impression that HPF2 is more important when it comes to cancer research then HCC because of folding proteins is basic biology. When HPF2 folds some proteins that are related to human cancers then HPF2 might be more important then HCC.
I would like to get an answer on this topic from someone more qualified than me to judge this. I have great patience with HPF2 and focus only on processing WU from HPF2. |

I am not a specialist on these two topics so no judgement from me. But as a former scientist I can say that answers (or new questions
---------------------------------------- ) and discoveries very often pop up from unexpected directions. The projects before being made eligible for crunching, have to undergo I suppose a very strict evaluation procedure. So if two projects do have some overlap or adress some fundamental questions but from different directions then I see no problem with that. It even increases the chances of contributing to a new step forward. ![]() |

Both Help Defeat Cancer and Help Conquer Cancer have near immediate and touchable application (fast and accurate identification of the type, plus coupling to a 'best treatment' system, thus for many who've faced the malign and seen it eat lives in years, sometimes just months amongst family, friends, colleagues, neighbors, a far away "who knows might we find the Rosetta stone", fundamental research is of subordinate importance, do you wish to weigh one research project to another at WCG.

Thanks. I would like to see more individuals processing on both projects. Personally I give full throttle on HPF2 at 24/7.
