Dr. Mike.. Good Morning MOT . No new processors that I know of. There are always rumors and some say a 6 core some say an 8 core. But.. nothing that seems to be a "Good Rumor". Perhaps someone here has heard more than I have. Morning Dave. |

Morning Dave. Not rumor -- WCG Tech Uplinger posted Greetings all, in this thread in the Nutricious Rice Forun. This is the official statement saying there is an estimated 30 days left of new work to be sent out. The project is expected to have an additional 3 weeks to clean up the remaining batches after that. The last batch of work units from the researchers are 00627 which has been built and loaded earlier today. Thank you again for all your help with this project! Let me know if you have any questions. -Uplinger |

Strange Occurance
----------------------------------------We had a big storm last night that dropped 0.86" of rain since midnight. I got up this morning and looked at my weather station and noticed the red alert light was on. I expected it to be for flooding. When I clicked on it, I got a "Tsunami Advisory" notice. Considering I am 100 miles from the coast and 1,500' elevation that seemed rather strange. Happy to see they are looking after me though. "A tsunami advisory is in effect along the northwest California coast... from Point Arena to Point Piedras Blancas." @ Chris: Did you get one on your station in SoCal??? Good morning MOT. ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Dataman at Feb 27, 2010 4:40:46 PM] |

Good morning MOT. ![]() Hi DM, My station didn't report anything although I did hear about it on the radio. I called my friend in Hawaii to see if she is okay and hasn't been evacuated. She's fine - she lives inland and on a hill. I told her that if she must live on a volcano in the middle of the pacific, she probably lives in the best spot. Anyway, I'm at 2400' and over 100 miles away from the pacific, and 6000' mountains all around me, so I would hope to not see a tsunami warning here! Been raining pretty good here this morning as well - almost a .5" of rain in the desert so far!

I'm guessing I got one because my reporting area includes a small part of the Sac valley. I've received 1.98" in the last 24 hours, 11.23" since Jan 1st and if I include Nov and Dec I am pushing 20". Despite all of that, I am certain my local water district will find a way to declare it a "drought" so they can charge tier 2 prices. ![]() ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Dataman at Feb 27, 2010 6:07:11 PM] |
