shock How many computers does it take?

I've been running boinc for a couple of years now, usually on multiple computers. Now I'm running 4 computers at my house at about 90% capacity. I like how my numbers are climbing, but when I look at others' stats I'm blown away! How in the heck do some of these people get such high daily numbers? Do they have multiple super computers, or what?

The short answer is yes. Some have multiple high end systems and some are just people who have made use of corporate server farms- i.e Mr. Kermit. Sometimes it is just how much do you want to spend on electricity and or high end systems. It can interesting to see just what kind of hot rod some can put together like Movieman.

Cheers

Also, some 'members' may look as though they're individual people, although in fact, they're teams all grouped under the same member name (i.e., schools, college's, companies etc.).

One example, is the member "IBM" where they have/had over 14,000 devices connected (okay, quite a few will be old/redundant devices etc.) at the moment, and are returning over 2,000 results/day.
