#1 You can now Change your Profile
Add your email address to your signature
Add Cool Links and ID's

#2 You can now Change your Signature

links to your Team Recruiting Page

#3 You can now Change your Posts Per Page
This is set to 10 posts per page by default

Re: New "My Forum Profile" Button

Who has access to the profile info?

The only way you can edit your information is if you fill in your name.

The entry "Skin" seems odd (after you select "Change my Information"), and perhaps a bit controversial at face value?

Sincerely, thanks for the update. peace

Re: New "My Forum Profile" Button

hello julied,
I just tried it out. I clicked on My Forum Profile, then on Change My Information. Then I made some changes and clicked on Edit My Profile. I disd not have to enter my name, which was already entered. I assume that I would not have been allowed to delete my name, though I could have changed it.

Re: New "My Forum Profile" Button

mycrofth,

I think the instance 'julied' is referring to does occur but only once (see below).

If I recall we don't have to input first and last names when becoming a member .. just choose a member name. However, once you are a member and you go into make any changes to your profile, it won't let you complete the changes until you populate these name fields. If you are worried about disclosing these (although they don't appear anywhere as far as I'm aware), you can input your member name in both fields smile

Once this requirement is met (unless of course you exit without clicking Edit My Profile), any subsequent changes to your profile will not bring this issue up .. I think biggrin

Re: New "My Forum Profile" Button

julied,

The "skin" was originally meant to be the forum skin (color theme). Since we want everyone to have the nice WCG design, there are no other "skin" options.

julied,

I just tried out the profile when I was updating my sig to show that I hit 75,000 points for MOT (blatent self praise). I noticed that first and last name are not required any more and the birthday and skin fields are gone as well.
