I'd like to offer help to translate the World Community Grid into Portuguse. I think this is a fantastic initiative and it'd be a lot easier to promote it in Brazil if the site was translated. How can I help?

A despeito das solicitacoes e tentativas anteriores de conseguir isto, feitas por falantes da lingua Portuguesa pelo mundo afora, nunca obtivemos nenhum resultado positivo ao longo dos ultimos 5 anos. Os melhores resultados foram as iniciativas de traducoes do Flavio Bessa... e bom registrar. Quem sabe desta vez, com alguem com tempo livre pra se dedicar a isto, o WCG decida focar nesta solicitacao, e isto se torne uma realidade. I am happy if WCG will be translated into Portugese. But let me remind you, please, that a translation into German is already waiting to be put on the webite. If the text itself cannot be put on the webite, then a link to the German Viki should be put on the website. As in previous occasions, the quickest way forward is to start on adding a Portuguese language section to the WCGwikia like there are now several others such as recently the initiation of the Italian at http://it.wcg.wikia.com/wiki/Pagina_principale

You can count on me, guys. Brazil’s internet users are growing fast. In July 2009, Brazil had 27.5 million at-home internet users. And these users averaged 41 online hours per month.
