Thanks for pointing to the update - it's always interesting to see what the reserchers perceive being the status

The calculations for Experiment 31 didn't begin 12/07/2009, but about mid November. The obvious likely reason is that the last results for Experiment 30 came in 12/07/2009, and for simplicity this is taken as the start of Experiment 31. In reality, there is always some overlap.

I just had a result from faah 9543 series, so we should have about 20% of Experiment 31 sent out, while the researchers have received about 6%.

For the jugglers who like to take a stab at estimating the true percent done on experiment 31

Nov 15 / Dec 15 - 1695 CPU years
Dec 16 / Jan 17 - 1767 CPU years

I've no idea what the batch number in circulation was and whether they go into the feeders sequentially, ignoring repair/no reply make up job.

and the Teraflop to go with those were 2033 and 2148 respectively, a slight power increase.
