Sounds like an excellent idea. If you know if any scientists who are conducting research on Fibromialgia, send them to this page http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/research/viewSubmitAProposal.do and have them submit a proposal or have them send us an email through the Contact Us feature.

If you are involved in a Fibromialgia community or Social Network, you can use the Tell-A-Friend feature http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/viewTellAFriend.do and ask your firends to help spread the word about World Community Grid to all the Fibromialgia researchers.

Thanks.

Re: fibromalgia

Isn't one of the problems the fact that the cause is not known?

Having said that, I have had to research the subject for a friend and it seems that in many if not most cases it stems from defects in sleep architecture. That means (I think) that sufferers do not get adequate amounts of quality sleep at each of the 4 stages + REM.
