angry Install Boinc Agent on Mandriva 2010 (linux)

Hi everybody ! smile

I don't know the way to install Boinc Agent on Mandriva 2010 (linux). The formula: sudo apt-get install boinc-client boinc-manager works perfectly with Ubuntu 9.10 (linux) sad and not at all with le Mandriva... angry

So what ? Has any one of you the response ??? thinking

The only help on the quick I can find for Mandriva is

and then shock there is the too simple use of Google entering the words... BOINC + Mandriva to throw out

I have never used Mandriva (older name Mandrake as I recall) but isn't it a RPM based distro rather than a Debian type like Ubuntu?

If so, the command should be "sudo yum install boinc" if the Mandriva repository carries boinc. If not, download boinc from WCG or Berkley to your home directory and issue the command "sh boinc_6.2.15_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh" as a normal user while in your home directory. Change the boinc version to whatever you downloaded and all should work well.
