Who presides over the "challenges?"

Greetings smile

A. few days ago I instigated a teams challenge~"Less than 10 members challenge".

looking at the entry list I see a couple of ineligible teams...L'alliance Francophone and Ukraine.

The former has over 3000 members, the latter over 300.

These guys should be shown the yellow card and be disqualified laughing

Lol it would be funny if we actually managed to complete with these renegade challenge infidels!!! laughing

Do we have a supervisor for challenges to ensure fair play and correct errors?

It's not about winning and losing, it's about fair play.

Not me. I don't have anything to do with supervising team challenges. I think you will have to wait till Monday for a reply.

biggrin Re: Who presides over the "challenges?"

Sorry to disturb YOUR challenge. crying
Not aware l'AF was engaged, I will continue to crunch on WCG as a rosted froggy who like help science.
One teammate has done an error by lake of time to read correctly and entered l'AF into all current challenges. devilish
I agree to call the arbiter or you will have to count only points of 10 people from each "big" team. I don't want you to handle such a hard work !! wink
More seriously, just remove the teams who don't comply with the challenge.
Good fight hugs
One of the pesty froggy frenchies. sick

Re: Who presides over the "challenges?"

At this time we do not support challenges that only allow certain classes of teams to participate. This is a feature that could be added. Other than limiting the number of members, what other criteria would be desired?

Re: Who presides over the "challenges?"

Seems most criteria is already covered.......bar team size.

Given the title of the challenge I think it was just the usual French arrogance causing this issue.

Oh and Russkie peskiness......"let us in or we cut your fuel supplies". laughing

Re: Who presides over the "challenges?"

If you are going to create a mechanism for "team sizing" challenges, i wouldbe great if the "size" was based on "active" (like returned results within last x days (30/60/90?) and not just member count - retired count.
