Pretty Graphics

I recently rejoind FAAH. Sorry I left you guys!

I dont remember how to make any of the interesting graphics appear in snow leopard on BOINC. Even simple view uses that generic yellow theme.

Hello mentaluproar,
Sounds like you are asking a question about how BOINC operates on Snow Leopard. I do not have any answers, but you need to edit the Post Topic on the first post in the thread to show your real question. That way people running Snow Leopard will see your query. Also, there are different versions of BOINC with different problems on the new OS, so your edit should add your BOINC version in the body of the query.

You may have difficulty as older third party screen savers (if that is what you are refering to as " interesting graphics ") have been reported as disabled and as of now do not run under SL. Please refer to this thread http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...ead,26633_offset,0#249775 for additional information. You may have to change to a currently unsupported WCG BOINC version to run screen savers under SL.

I'm currently running BOINC 6.10.17 and the screensaver only shows "BOINC screensaver test successful!"

This is a problem with using a currently unsupported BOINC client for WCG projects. Some things may not work as they should and this may be the case. The WCG techs or someone else may have a better answer why WCG screen saver may not be working properly.

You may want to change your posting title to something like "Mac Snow Leopard BOINC 6.10.17 Screen Saver Issue" to attract better attention to your postings. Just a suggestion.
