Hello, I'm having problems after switching to Windows 7 x64. All tasks except Rice will finish instantly, and give an error when I look at the results page on the website. As for Rice, the progress stays 0%, until it completes 7 hours later. I don't have a clue to what to do. Any help is appreciated. Hmm, no idea if it will work, but I would re-boot the computer, repair the BOINC-installation, and check whatever any firewall and virus-scanners is doing, and possibly turn these off temporary to see if things improve. Hello LIT@negi,
Can't set up shared mem: -1 BOINC uses shared memory segments, so this is a deadly error. Like Ingleside, I suspect that a security program is not allowing BOINC to operate. I can not remember ever seeing this particular shared memory error before, so I have no experience to fall back on. Lawrence |
