Salve a tutti,
Il mio bimbo di 5 anni ha una recidiva metastatica di neuroblastoma. Da poco sono venuto a conoscenza di World Community Grid ed ho subito aderito. Ho un pc con vista e BOINC vers. 6.2.28. Da qualche giorno il pc lavora, elabora progetti, vedo salire la statistica, ma mi sembra che non invia i risultati. Non vedo nulla nella pagina "Trasferimenti", e nel My Grid, i risultati sono: Accumulated Points: 0 Current Ranking: 0 Nei messaggi non vedo errori. Scusate se parlo solo italiano, ma vi chiedo, se potete, di aiutarmi... Grazie |

----------------------------------------Ciao. Sono italiano, e partecipo da tempo al WCG. Cercherò di aiutarti, anche se non ho capito esattamente il tuo problema. Per prima cosa: il tuo BOINC ha inviato i risultati? Puoi controllarlo nella tab "Transfers" (io uso BOINC in inglese, ma in italiano sarà "Trasferimenti", o una cosa simile). Se quella finestra è vuota, allora i risultati sono arrivati al server del progetto. Seconda cosa: se nella tua pagina personale vedi 0 come "accumulated points", non è necessariamente una cosa strana. I risultati che tu invii prima devo essere validati, e poi ti viene assegnato un punteggio. Per sapere lo stato dei risultati che hai inviato devi cliccare su "Result status", e ti si aprirà la pagina con l'elenco delle WU (work units, cioè le unità di lavoro che hai elaborato, o stai ancora elaborando). Vedrai che in alto puoi far vedere solo le WU "In Progress" (che stai elaborando), quelle "Pending validation" (quelle che hai già elaborato interamente ma che attendono di essere validate), ecc. ecc. non sai che piacere provo a leggere tutte le risposte del mio messaggio d'aiuto. ...E ti ringrazio per aiutarmi, in un momento così delicato, in un campo che fino a poco tempo fa ignoravo e che quindi non so destreggiarmi... Nella tab "transfers" in realtà non vedo nulla, ma in "my grid" ed in "results status", sotto la striscia rosa non c'è nulla. Tutti i filtri sono impostati come "all" Anche nel mio post, non sono evidenziati i progetti che ho aderito. Nei messaggi, ogi volta che finisco una elaborazione mi compare la scritta: 29/09/2009 13.39.16|World Community Grid|Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. Requesting 0 seconds of work, reporting 1 completed tasks 29/09/2009 13.39.21|World Community Grid|Scheduler request succeeded: got 0 new tasks Non è per i punti, ma vorrei che le elaborazioni andassero a buon fine... Se poi hai un team vorrei farne parte... Grazie ancora showa!!! |

Ciao. Nel mio precedente ost non l'ho scritto perchè volevo dirtelo in maniera privata, ma poi non l'ho fatto: ti faccio tutti gli auguri di questo mondo per il tuo bimbo. Non ho la minima idea di come ti senti, ma so come mi sentirei io... ho un bimbo di 20 mesi, e la sola idea che si ammali di cancro (come di un'altra malattia, sia chiaro) mi spacca il cuore...
----------------------------------------Mi confermi che in "My grid", "Result status", se lasci impostato "All" dappertutto, non vedi NESSUNA wu? Sembra impossibile, dato che il messaggio di BOINC che hai postato fa pensare che i risultati tu li spedisci al server del progetto... sembra impossibile. Ma usi BOINC anche per altri progetti, oltre al WCG? Se no, prova a elaborare una o 2 wu per Rosetta @ Home, ad esempio. Giusto per capire se questo fenomeno si ripete anche per altri progetti. Voglio spiegare all'utente Sekerob il tuo problema. Se puoi, copia/incolla il link al tuo "My grid" nel tuo prossimo messaggio, così da dargli il riferimento al tuo profilo. @Sekerob: he's explaining a very tricky situation. As pasted above, it seems that his BOINC sends back the results, but he told me that in "My grid", "Result status", nothing appears (even if everything is set with "All"). I don't know what to think. I asked him to copy/paste his "My grid" link - hope it'll be useful to understand this problem. |
