I want to ask if there will be real support for BAM manager. I read in the FAQ that there is partial support, though it did not answer if there will be any support in the near future. Furthermore, I seem to have awful compatibility with BAM and WCG, if there is any compatibility at all. Each time I synchronize my boinc client with BAM, it simply detaches me from WCG. And when I manually attach WCG with the 'attach to project' button, WCG seems to ignore the web settings, giving WCG a 50 points of resource share. *Sigh* I hope they enable support for BAM, since I am a team leader and I myself manage TONS of computers and projects depending on how good the computer is. Many of these computers are pretty damn far away and so I cannot manually go and attach them to WCG. Thanks in advance for any information.

Have you selected WCG in your BAM profile? If not, it will detach WCG, yes.
----------------------------------------The support is slowly expanded, but some things have to be changed in BOINC itself and at the BAM site to get up to par with the security requirements WCG has. World Community Grid have requested some changes so that account managers will be secure enough for WCG to support them fully.
I have no idea how long this will take. I don't use BAM myself, but I understand you should connect to WCG via BAM and then come to the WCG site to change the resource share manually. |

Hence my post  I don't use BAM myself, but I understand you should connect to WCG via BAM and then come to the WCG site to change the resource share manually. Again, I did that already. If sticking your tongue out, watch for not stumbling... you'd bite it off. It works quite well for me so it's sure you missed something.
----------------------------------------First, did you tick that magic box on the Attach new host by default? Second, is the password at BOINCstats/BAM same as at WCG?
