Hello everyone,
my question is: Is there a how to description for installing BOINC on a server? Those machines are normally fast ones, so an installation on this machines would give a lot of power. Thank you for any help in advance Yours Martin Schnellinger |

A private or a business server? Latter is playing with fire.
----------------------------------------Run as admin and install as service/protected mode is all that you'd need to do. If windows based, there's a great tool, Threadmaster GUI, to manage the CPU allotment of individual science processes. Works at least through W2K3 server.

Basically I think we need to know more information to help. What operating system for example. What access do you have on these systems. Are you allowed to run extra applications on this system?
