Suppose we all along have been talking about downgrade to 6.2.28?
----------------------------------------Latest these tasks finish you should get new work. Each task finishing recomputed the rDCF which in combination with the Timestats drives the HP/Panic mode. Good chance in a couple of hours they switch back to regular processing... so just let it rip would be my approach.

The actual version downgraded to doesn't matter, can just as easily be v6.6.28 as v6.2.28, but the immediate effect of just doing a downgrade and nothing else is even worse-off on_frac than before... Still, after the downgrade, on_frac will slowly start increasing again, so after some days it will be up to more normal work-requests again. As for rDCF, changing clients has no effects in this instance. Anyway, a bug-fix has now been added, and will be included in v6.10.4. ![]() "I make so many mistakes. Well, I turned in 1 of the 2 WU's that was d/l and got 2 new ones so I am having to disagree. I went 2 days getting just 1 WU at a time and I am already on my way to getting my normal number of work. I try using the bew BOINC 6.6.36 and found that it would not work for Limited User account. In fact one of my laptop would run for a while and go into stand by. I had to reboot to get it to start again.
----------------------------------------I have notice that 6.6.28 is no longer on the BOINC down load site for some reason. (It's a good thing I save my old ones) ![]() |
