I'm running on my Atom laptop. It has hyperthreading which is allowing me to run two tasks at once. Other projects allow this to happen, but I just burned through 5+ precious WUs with computation errors. I have 504MB of ram

You may want to choose different projects for your laptop. Nutritious Rice for the World has very low memory requirements. |

http://wcg.wikia.com/wiki/System_requirements You may want to choose different projects for your laptop. Nutritious Rice for the World has very low memory requirements. I really need it to crunch CEP, so I'll try to limit the crunching to one WU at a time. Odd thing is, it is only crunching at 50% in task manager. ![]() |

Hello Nickoli,
One process = 50%. Don't worry about that. Task Manager does not know how to measure hyper-threaded processors. Lawrence |

Oldies, Goodies, this thread / solution is 2.5 years:
----------------------------------------http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=11721 The search term including quotation marks was: "Process Creation Failed: The paging file is too small for this operation to complete" Not recommendable to do this on an atom and hyperthreading on, for they will run very slow if trying to do 2 CEP concurrently in 512 Mb RAM.
