Hello,
I have 5 bits of work completed 100% for 2 days. They are not uploaded, nor is not any new work arriving. Reason ? By the way, my password was refused 3 times, until I went to the front-page. There it was accepted an I could reach the forum. Cheers, Paul |

Hi vep,
----------------------------------------As you've been around for quite some time, I'm presuming that you've been and pressed the "Update" button on the Projects tab (with WCG selected). If so, what were the messages that it produced? Also, are there any messages that give any clues right at the beginning of the BOINC session? When was the last time you rebooted your machine/router - as that may also be something causing this apparent "blockage". Thus, once you've tried those in reverse order (i.e., reboot everything, looking for any obvious messages/clues in the BOINC start up log, and then any messages in the log after you've pressed the Update button), if it still doesn't work, come back and please provide us with your findings/message logs...  |

I have 5 bits of work completed 100% for 2 days. They are not uploaded, nor is not any new work arriving. Reason ? Assuming you have rebooted and the uploads still have not started, you can try this. Click on the "transfers tab". There you will see the files that are attemping to upload. Highlite each file and click on "retry now" on the left. This will force an upload attemp. If that does not work you can abort the transfers but you will not get credit for the work but downloads should resume. If none of that works, you may have to reset the project but then you will loose those wu's and all that are in process. By the way, my password was refused 3 times, until I went to the front-page. There it was accepted an I could reach the forum. From the main page you can enter your username/password and hit enter or click on "sign in". Both work. When you are in the forum there are places where only entering your username/password and clicking "sign in" works. Hitting enter does not work. That may have been the cause. But don't get me started on this lamer, antiquated and geriatric forum software here at WCG.   I hope this helps. Cheers!   |
