The are called 'alpha' ;>) LoL.... I was waiting for that! I have not received any BETAS since that last one. No worries, I have plenty of other badges to work on ;) |

Go to your My Grid page, click on the Beta Testing link (at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left hand side of your screen) then check the box next to each profile you want to associate beta testing with. Other than being patient there is nothing else necessary. Betas are few and far between ... sometimes months between tests.

Uplinger mentioned a 'possibly this week' or something similar in a HFCC forum thread. http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...ead,26727_offset,0#251103
----------------------------------------Could be another HFCC test, doubt it though, more likely DDDT2 or CEP2. The deck is shuffled bi-daily ;>)

The are called 'alpha' Yep, I forgot to think there for a while About how to get Beta's: there's a lot of text written about "how to" get Beta's elsewhere on the boards. Some mentioned ideas are more or less effective, or more or less work-intensive, getting into detailed micromanaging. Still, any way to get the elusive Beta work units start with Steve WCG's text. And whatever level of micro- or macromanagement you are willing to use, it is a good to show patience. You may get lucky though, I think I saw somewhere that there will be a beta test soon so you may pick up some of them. One addition to Steve WCG's text: you need to select at least 1 active project aside from checking the Beta box... |
