Top manager is a rather ambitious title, but thanks anyway. Before the new badges I was working on getting all projects to a self determined target of 200 days. So that is the real cause of my lovely sea of red. I have no favourites and choose to donate similar work to each project. However never again will I be so colour coordinated. 2 of them are forever red and I have a green coming soon, so it is very temporary. I'll always enjoy the ruby Genome Comparison, as that is a little bit rare. Cheers |

Not everyone has discovered Member Comparisons link where you can enter up to 8 members. In early days I kept a bookmark with competitors pre-filled to keep an eye out. The linked sample above shows 5 who've posted in this thread. Toss has been the top manager in spreading his contributions with 10 reds ;o) Sekerob, Thanks for that link! I really appreciate that interesting comparison. So if I should add another system to run these WU's, (for some period of time) then remove it, will it always indicate I have 2 machines? I'm building a new system for my grandsons, and I was thinking about using WCG as good burn in for about a month before giving it to them. How will that affect things in the future for me? |

Now how about setting up an account for the grandsons, so when you give them the PC you can say 'granddad' set you already up with some nice ranking score and ...' ;>) This system is strictly a gaming machine for them. When they get older we'll have the discussion about world wide participation and giving back, but heck, these kids are really little (almost 4 and almost 6). So they won't have a clue about shutting down the WCG and I'm sure it will only get in their way in the near term. But the day is coming when they will be old enough for the appropriate conversation. As I said, at this point in time, this is just a fun toy for them! However, don't fear, I'm also designing another system for myself, and that one I hope will have some capacity to get out of it's own way and that system will participate. |
