----------------------------------------Efficiency is all about making what you have do the most useful work right?! If we could truly measure efficiency .oO( or carbon footprint ) the numbers would probably make us all look bad. After all, in 5 years We'll all be crunching 3.33x for the same watts. Maybe the world would be better off if we just wait till then? Nah, we need to do what we can today with the tools we have today!  |

The scientific results seen from today's crunching will determine future scientific research and acceptance. For computer modelling to continue becoming a viable research technique it needs to be supported today.

mikaok, if I compare you to Mercury, I am akin to Mars, Hypernova has rings and MrKermit is in a different solar system

Astrolab, it annoys me that my badges only add up to 14years 45days, and I only have 18 years crunch time
Total Run Time 18:067:19:06:18, Rank 1,600 Looks like you were on the wrong end of a two for one deal As for Dale, 35years worth of HCC and a 2year badge to show for it! Would be nice to see something like 15th written over it, for 15th place on that project. Respect where respect's due. When you have all the badges you can get it sort of feels like sitting at the top of the last mountain you wanted to climb. Anyway, turned over 105K points since yesterday - a few more and I might get onto the 3rd page. Not much of a hill but what else is there? |
