Re: Members Current Ranking

Ok Sek. Next step is to reach you. cool

I will push the core temps to 80-85 C instead of my conservative approach to 60-65C. This should allow me to gain another 5-10% per machine. On 7 machines that's about half a new one. After all the i7 can handle 90 C, with a thermal limit at 100. I tested a I7 950 for a few weeks at sustained 90-95 Deg without trouble.

Re: Members Current Ranking

The higher you climb the slower you climb!

That's for sure! At some point you might see a day that you've set up the base camp and have a day off in climbing. Or even worse... you might drop a place or 2, eventhough you're crunching all you can! And than the next day, the climbing restarts again. biggrin

Re: Members Current Ranking

No other way round. When climbing has stopped you need to counter the gravitational pull that holds you. Just add another planet nearby to pull you up. wink

Re: Members Current Ranking

I like the analogy, Sander. I definitely seem to be setting up a base camp around 1987/88. Up 1 spot, down 2, up 1, even. But that's OK, just getting past #2000 was enough to make me smile.
