BOINC.net, a multiclient manager.

The .Net suffix gives it away, you do need v 3.5, SP1 before you can run BOINC.Net, but it works surprisingly well for a package still in early days of development. Don't try it's message tab on a remote host though. It will freeze for minutes, but not die. It will come back.

At your own peril, you need to set up the hosts connections first in the Hosts Manager, Add Hosts. It found all my clients on the Lan. Anyone who's experienced with BOINCView knowing what's needed in terms of setup for BOINC itself v.v. the remote_hosts.cfg and gui_rpc_auth.cfg files prior to doing this... you need to know the password for each client (which is why I've put the same one in that latter file on all clients.

Get it here http://tnmshouse.com/boincDotnet/ with thanks to Mike O developing this. Then...

enjoy, walking the rim of your abyss and do report bugs on Mike O's own forum.

PS, after install I made a shortcut to the Boinc.NET.application file. On 1 machine it did not create any links, but on Vista it did in the BOINC.Tools Start menu.

Re: BOINC.net, a multiclient manager.

This is one for those who like everything in a non-standard (and often hideous) colour, with lots of extra graphics.

Not to my taste.

Re: BOINC.net, a multiclient manager.

For those of the "only one way, my way" corporate blue lovers, version 0.1.19
Ok.. here we go.

This Version contains NO fixes
This version contains more UI Settings.
For those that are having a hard time seeing this app or just not liking the dark colors of the screens, you can now change that and just about all other colors in the forms. Buttons, panels and the Data-Grid-View have color settings now. I tried to pic some nice colors for the defaults but you can set them to how you like them. These of course are all saved on exit.
I'm thinking of adding Graphic sets for the things like the Control Panel and the custom column headers and Tab bar.
As usual, if you have an issue, report it

He's missing the point. Operating systems let you do this already. Adding it to every application is just pointless work.

So, thanks to the author for listening to complaints - but sweet lord, he's making work for himself.
