Any problem running headless Linux 64-bit?

Hi,

just wondering if there is any issue with running the client on a headless Linux server?

The download page lists only one Linux client. Is it the same download for 32 and 64 bit as well as for console and graphics clients?

Should not be a problem... many do.

As to the version, better get the BOINC version through the Synaptic Package Manager. Many distro's have a custom installer. The one provided here is only tested on Ubuntu, plus the one linked here is 32 bit.

Apologies for slow reply. No expert Linuxees or users with the experience on the board atm.

I run Dotsch/UX, Ubuntu based Boinc distro, 64 bit, headless with no problems. Use VNC for remote desktop.
