Dr. D.Evil decided that I'll be for ever stuck in silver for the Genome Comparison project... just 2 days, 12 hours, 3 minutes, 20 seconds short of Gold. More hurt was the "UD agent only", but mostly the "The project has finished" and it did

Well, mine is, that I missed the AC@H gold-badge by 90 days, 0 hrs., 0 mins and 0 sec.
This project was still active, when I joined the WCG, but I never received a WU from that project...Appart from that, I'm doing pretty well, got gold in all projects, and already reached silver for ß. What's with you Sek, how much was missing for your golden AC@H badge??? ![]() |

Well, mine is, that I missed the AC@H gold-badge by 90 days, 0 hrs., 0 mins and 0 sec. Me too - although, correct me if I'm wrong, this project was run on BOINC whilst others were running on UD. So, if I'd have swapped at the wrong time, I wouldn't have gotten Gold in HCMD1 (by 4 days, 10 Hrs, 54 Mins & 54 secs - talk about cutting it fine), On the other hand though, I'm glad that I managed to get at least a bronze in Genome Comparison (0:018:19:38:28) & Help Defeat Cancer (0:025:13:45:51), so, at least I'm only ever 1 badge behind the potential to "a full house" ![]() Just now have to continue working on HCMD2 (hopefully, PV jail dependant), by the end of this weekend, and to get a bit more luck in the 'Beta hunt' Although I say it myself, not bad for someone who's only got the 1 computer crunching (and that was only the 1 core until the turn of the year).![]() |

I missed the gold GC by ~20 days, missed the gold HDC by ~28 days, missed the gold HPF1 by ~24 days.
Well, mine is, that I missed the AC@H gold-badge by 90 days, 0 hrs., 0 mins and 0 sec. I thought AC@H phase 2 was going to use the same badge? Hopefully, or I will be forever stuck with a bronze for that one. And the CPU time for that project was different. I only have 5 days accumulated for that project, returning 13 results. I think 1 day of CPU time was enough to get the bronze since it was so hard to get. |

I missed GC bronze by a couple of days and AC@H bronze by a few hours. Missing GC was "my fault" because I wasn't paying attention to how my WUs were distributed and I had enough time invested in FAAH that I could have had gold in GC, HPF1 and HDC and still had enough FAAH hours for gold.
AC@H was annoying because I had 2 WUs that were marked INVALID even though they finished without any apparent error and I got zero hours for both of them. The two would have given me bronze with time to spare. There was definitely a bug in AC@H restart logic. Both of the invalid WUs were restarted and the valid ones ran uninterrupted. However, if the AC@H continuation uses the same badge, that would ease the pain (for me and, I'm sure, others).Beta --- I assume that will happen eventually. I find it odd that my fastest machine, such as it is, has almost never received a beta WU and two slower machines have received about seven each. (I suppose that's good from a beta hours standpoint). The settings on the machines are all about the same, but the "fast" machine has crunched far more WUs and contributed many more hours than the other two combined ... plus it constantly gets short deadline "makeup" WUs. - D |

The bane of my existence is Beta testing. When beta's are released I always seem to be someplace else. By the time I get back here, most if not all have been sent out. After all these years of beta testing I am still 28+ days short of Gold.

Seeing as my credit units per day is small compared to some others, I'm not really that bothered about badges. Yes, It's nice to see that one has earned a higher grade of badge, I'll just see if I earn gold badges for projects before they finish.
