Well, as you can see, I have the stats back in business (on the quad tho). Got the drive in an external enclosure and am getting to what I've looked at so far. Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed at this point. Still waiting on the new hard drive and recovery disk to get started on the laptop. I've got GoToMyPC on both my machines. Used that so I could get to the machines at home from the office. It has a sync option that I plan to look at using for a kind of incremental backup by keeping a large group of files on both machines to where I can work on them on either. Regular full backups on the laptop will let me boot off the backup if I have another disk crash. This was my first after working with PCs since they first came out (the post Altair 8088's, namely the IBM XT). Guess I can't really complain.

My MOST SINCERE thanks and gratitude to Dave for grabbing the data for me while I regrouped, regained my sanity and got it back in gear. There's still a LOT of work for me to do to get back to the "new" normal though. Thanks for the offer too RT! I've cached that away for quick retrieval in the future!
