This one is interesting. This WU has been pending most of the day even though originally completed 5/13 but with a substitute wingman for the 'no reply'. Must be due to the App Version differences. Out of curiousity, how can a WU be handed to a follow up wingman with a different App Version for the same WU?

In past with such large numbers in circulation and the knowledge of version result differences, the supply would be run dry and the waiting for most all results employed before launching a new version into production. OR, the quorum would be allowed to fail and a 2nd extra copy also with new version would be send out to get a validating quorum, the old going invalid and getting full marks, manually.

Thanks Lawrence and Sekerob for the clarifications. This one looks like it will require a look by the techs as it has been PV for 36 hours as of this writing.

No, see post by knreed. There is a system wide issue of missed 'ready to validate' flag setting with unknown cause. There's an expiration timekeeper that will force the validation eventually, so patience is all that's needed.
