Shouldn't there be an option to completely disable BOINC from starting up on startup? I'm trying to debug hardware issues and I do not want BOINC running while doing so. The only option I found just prevents the manager from starting up, but BOINC applications are still running in task manager upon boot.

Depending on how you installed you could ... reset the services to not start or open msconfig and uncheck them from the statup tab. If you think this will be real short term you could open the boinc manager and put the WCG project into Suspend. While it will still be loaded it will not be proceesing anything.

Ah right, I forgot about msconfig. I just disabled it in there, thanks. Still, there should be an option in BOINC manager to disable BOINC from running at startup at all.
