Pending validation - ?new for this project?.

No state to restore. Start again.
This is all I have to show for all the 5 work pieces I got to complete.
Strange or what?

Re: Pending validation - ?new for this project?.

I've only been running a few days and have ~394 WUs pending validation...ppd has drop by ~50%.....

The 5 errors that I'm showing all have the same "No state to restore..." error.

Don't worry about it - they all say that in the result log....when the other unit is processed it will get validated smile

Re: Pending validation - ?new for this project?.

do to the fact that there are tons of work units out there and they all require a 2nd person to validate these there will be some times that you end up with lots of work units waiting validation

right now i have 4 pages of pending validation and some people have over 30

they will get validated it will just take a few days for some of these dont worry about them they will all get validated

that's why you see lots of people mentioning that they are waiting for there wingman

Thank you.
"Pending validation" is no stranger!
It was just the reason given was new to me and a little startling.

Re: Pending validation - ?new for this project?.

I think the main problem is that the WUs are so short that many hundreds are quickly built up. If the were of 'normal' size the PV queue would be a lot smaller.....

exactly correct. The PV queue would be cut down by about 7 times since the first work units were set to run for 1 hour each. But since there are many that ran for less than that and others that ran for longer than 1 hours it is hard to gauge the exact change.

Members have gotten used to there not being wingmen associated with many of our projects. I believe this may be part of the reason many people are surprised by it.

Thanks again!
